second opinion before TURB ?

mamatrauch, my tumor was 4cm and I had the surgery in 12/07 and I am doing fine at this time. I am going for my checkups every 6 months. You will do fine.

i'm all for knowledgable and progressive but how MANY has he done..thats a big tumor.

I had cystoscope last week found 1 single 5cm tumor I am scheduled to have it removed on Monday and sent for pathology.
Surgeon is going to put Mitomycin C in bladder after surgery
I read in the forums to get second opinion and have an experienced surgeon. Is this for before the 1st Turb? My surgeon is young 3 years in practice but seems very knowledgeable and progressive but now Im worried I didnt ask how many surg he has performed... I live in northern Illinois lake county illinois
