Carcinogens in tea bags
Some tea bags are made using a wet paper strength reinforcing coating using epichlorohydrin, which is known to be carcinogenic. Uses are not limited to tea bags, as coffee filters and sausage/salami casings can have the same issues. The problem can be avoided by using loose-leaf tea or tea bags which do not use the coating
Who knew? Geez.....

Hello Pat,

A friend forwarded a link to me about drinking green tea while having radiotheraphy.

Apparently it enhances the effects by around 40%..I started drinking it during treatment and continue to do so.

Doing a google search brings back loads of info on it....

Any boost or helping hand cannot hurt right!! It's green tea.....not as nice as my english brew with milk but hey!!

Just need to brew it for a good ten minutes and drink within an hour..which is no prob as cold tea is fowl...
