Hello Pat,

Had my friend forward the email again as I deleted it from my mail box. It was a message posted on Cancer Research UK Forum. No link to the mentioned scientific study but it's green tea right any enhancement to treatment I am willing to take onboard.

Thanks Mike for the tip about white tea..I am now having both...the white tea also helps to reduce fat levels which I am happy about. Have been piling on the pounds while on steroids these last few months.

Hi,

I have an interesting information for you. I am working in hospitals and a colleague of mine, a radio-oncologist, has showed me a study *that was published in the Journal of neurooncology. This study shows that the consumption of green tea increases the efficency of radiotherapy.

There is an enzym in green tea, the epigallocatechin-3-gallate, that increases the speed of destruction of the cancer cell by 40%. That's what explains this synergy.

My colleague has told me that this information is not yet known by everyone, even not among radio-oncologists.

I have 3 more tips

We need 6 cups a day. you let infuse for 10 minutes and you have to drink the infusion less than one hour after its preparation, otherwise it looses its properties.

The green tea from japan is the one with the highest conentration of EGCE.

To improve the efficency, you can eat foot that contains omega 3 (like curry, rapsberry, brocoli)

Merry Xmas to all

PS : Sorry for my english, it's not my natural language.
