Its funny but when my husband was alive i knew i would be alright...a false sense of security i guess.
I shall keep you posted.
Thank you for all the support......Pat

Hi Pat, I wish I knew all about breast cancer to help you but I don't. But reading on this site I have relized you are a very smart person and a very good researcher. You just need to project all the positive thoughts you give to everyone else here back to your self.
I don't know why you have this cancer also, other then I believe if your body has got to the point where one grows why not another. I do not believe God has given you this, but I do know he will be with you through all of it. He has promised if we ask He will be with us. My husband is a pastor and you will be in our prayers and we will ask the church to also keep you in prayer. Rocky

Thanks Cynthia....and yes i'm still waiting on results from 2 places which apparently takes some time! oh well they can't do anything until i heal anyway. Have a lovely case of neuralgic pain now under my arm..thats fun along with the cold that won't go away and my hernia popping out from coughing so much!! I'm a disaster.
I guess i'm just looking for the people who have the best toys and have had the experience using them. I would love for someone to tell me i can just do the Axila area for 5 days..twice a day instead of whole breast radiation for 6 weeks. I don't want more surgery to get nodes as they don't know exactly where they are anyway. And there have been cases of it only being in the one sentinel...i had 3 sentinel nodes..2 clear and one with extracapsular extension..not good..but maybe it hadn't gone anywhere yet and that was it...wishful thinking but i've been told its happened before. Maybe it happened when they had my boob squashed in that mammogram before surgery when they were mapping the sentinel...there were 4 people in the room having the best time laughing..one of them was not me. I guess its pretty funny when a 36C can be squashed to a 22AAAA.....This is all so barbaric isn't it?

Pat,

Of course you are down with all of this who would not be? But I know you well enough that you will get up and go forward as soon as you can.

You have always been there for this forum family. We are not up on breast cancer but we can do research for you if you need it. Let us know what we can do to help and you have it.

Will the out standing pathology second opinions help you find a treatment path potentially? Are you planning to go out of the area for a second opinion once all the reports are in? Are you wanting to stay in the area for treatment?

You told me that you had not found a breast cancer forum that offered the type of support you had found here for bladder cancer. We may not know much about breast cancer but we do know you and we are here to offer support and caring.

Pat,

I'm glad to see you are sharing with us your latest fears. You will get thru this nightmare but you need to vent so please continue to share your concerns with us. It sounds rather complicated but you are smart and savy when it comes to medical issues and you will again astound us with your insight and abilities. I just know you will. You are just having a tough time of things just now but remember, this is only temporary.

You aren't being punished for bad behavior. Your dad was using the old "fear" tactic that so many of our parents used back when we were kids. Life isn't fair, we all know that...bad things happen to good people and only the dear Lord knows why. Don't jump off any bridge cause you are still my mentor and if you go, I'll have to go and I'm not a strong swimmer. BIG HUG!!!!
