Pat,
I now know the best Doctors treat the Divas with the respect they deserve.
Thanks for sharing this pink ribbon journey.

You are in my prayers.

Ah Sigh.......well i'm an anomoly! We all knew that huh?
Dr. Shaunessey called me late today...pathology back. Good news and sort of weird news that doesn't make sense. All margins were clear so she got it all.....however..and here's the rub........When she went for the sentenel node and apparently there are 3 which i did not know??..Anyway she asked the suppossedly intelligent lab person in the surgical area to number them 1, 2, and 3. Now that seems like a fairly easy job to me but lab person put them all together. Lab person now looking for new job by the way. Anyway 2 were clear, third one had some errant cells but we don't know which one that was? Anyway she's presenting me, Diva that i am, to a consortium of suppossedly intelligent surgeons on monday for a concensus on whats next and then to send my pathology to the number one pathologist in the country Dr. Page at Vanderbilt to give his/her opinion. I hate that Good News Bad News stuff don't you? How on earth truthfully would a lcm tumor on the right side of my breast which is contained with clean margins travel to a sentinel node waaaaay over on the left side of my breast near the arm pit? I know cancer is sneaky but really!!! I told Dr. Shaunessey i sure wasn't going to let this well funded cancer get me if bladder cancer didn't and thats my final word on that!!
