Diagnosis for spreading?

9 years 10 months ago #29321 by mmc
As Doug said, CT scans are one, Pylograms another, and PET scans. In your case, since it was a very small low grade, not much chance of spread at that stage of the game.

9/2013 finished chemo -cancer free again
1/2014 ct scan results....distant mets
2/2014 ct result...spread to liver, kidneys, and lymph...

Doug has had 2 CT scans to make sure it hasn't spread.

As I read about this cancer and how it can spread to other parts of the body, I can't help but wonder...how to you know if it has spread? What kind of tests are done?
