Wow! The question is pretty open ended. The thing with bladder cancer is, that there are different stages and grades and types and treatment will be very different.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with bladder cancer, the usual next step is to go to a major bladder cancer center and have the diagnosis (and treatment plan) confirmed.

Have you or your loved one been told that the surgery to remove the bladder is required? If so, then it most likely at Stage T2 or higher.
The diversion chosen as the preferred method can be different also. The choice can be different for men and women.
