Hi Sid......when you set up your appointment for your second opinion they will tell you what they need. The hospital can forward it ..your CT scans, blood work, pathology slides or any other tests. I chose to hand deliver mine when i went to MSK for my second opinion and had no trouble getting them from the hospital..just needed to notify them in enough time for them to pack up the pathology slides.
You would be wise to try and set an appointment now as they are quite busy and you never know what the lead time might be. I was able to get in extremely quickly at MSK but every place is different.

Well Johns Hopkins is #1 in Urology so he should be pretty good. Ask him how many bladder cancer patients he sees in a year.
You might be fine right where you are.....but always a good idea for a second opinion and second pathology report.

Just finished my last BCG instillation. Should I wait on the results and depending on the outcome then decide on Houston.I am at Tulane University Hospital/clinic and my Dr. is Dr.Lee. His bio looks good and he came from John Hopkins and his speciality is the Davinci robitic surgery.

Where are you being treated now? Ochsner Cancer Inst. has a good reputation but not many in bladder cancer..

Feist-Weiler is a ways to go in Shreveport but has a uro that trained at USC/Norris which is a great cancer center. Dr. Elmajian

If you can go out of state I would head to MD Anderson which has a great reputation for treatment of bladder cancer.
Drs Dinney, Grossman or Kamat amongst the top

Always a good idea for a second opinion with any cancer.
