Good News (FINALLY)!   Got my CT scan results.  The area of concern is now half the size it was.
The verdict is that it was swelling from the TUR.

My Uro wants to do more biopsies after I go through a couple more Mitomycin (MMC) so we'll know more then.  I never heard of MMC when I signed up for this forum.  My moniker was just an acronym on my name.  Maybe if my name was Bradley Charles Goren the BCG treatments would have worked. 8-)
Who knows, maybe being Mike Mc**** is a good omen and the MMC treatment will work for me!  ;D

Yes, they saw the spot with an office cysto (which was my first visit to a urologist). He scheduled the TUR for the day I returned from a trip that I was on for 3 weeks. That's when we found out for sure it was CIS.
The CT scan was a couple weeks later.

My follow up CT scan is Monday so I'm hoping it was just swelling (but a bit nervous as well).

Tom will be pleased we can all remember the cheer leaders after the game  ;)
& YOU may reciprocate by making darned sure Mr. Woody makes me feel the same - but I promise no Pom Poms - the rest maybe but NO Pom Poms ;D
If you want to wooooop with glee or have your hands warmed you have my phone number - day or night call collect if you need to :-*
HEY WOAH there: Are they still irrigating or intubating? If not and there is no frank hematuria what is it there for? Surely intubation with a clot disolver or constant irrigation to wash it out makes sense but just Cath as a drain isn't achieving much unless they want to ensure NO pressure in the bladder.
IF it is there for the last reason leave it there for as long as poss as it means the scar will heal then worry about the clot which will float free as dead blood - a brownish jelly. Once the scar is healed intubation with a clot breaker and irrigation will clear the clot.
IF the clot is in Large bits it could block the sphinkture at the neck of the bladder or if Mr. Woody's prostate is enlarged it could block the urethra - Cath can also block but can be back flushed with a syringe to clear it - doesn't hurt as such and if you do it several times it is quite fun you can pee rasberry foam pips and all ::)!

Small boys pee up walls to see who can pee highest - wow with bladder cancer or prostate problems it is a new found childhood - seeing if you can pee atall ;D

GOOD LUCK WITH THE CTScan
ReMeMbEr why YOU have Nice Warm Hands
::) :-*

Regards to you BOTH,
Greg & Lee

Hi,
What great news Greg. I am so happy for you. ;) Everytime I look at your lion and your flag I feel like I should stand up and sing God Save The Queen or Hail Britannia. It just always makes me smile a little as you do, very often. Now we can have a race and see you makes it to 120.
Best Wishes....Jean

Hip Hip Hooray!! (shaking my pom poms)   :-*

Nice CT.......ahhhhhhhhh I love the thought of being able to breath easy.......It really is a release of pent up worry .........even if it isn't my own test!

As for the bone scan I can read the results as soon as they hit the system....don't forget I have the power  ;)

Mr C is VERY VERY down today.  I sent the doc an e-mail and asked if he would consider removing the cath tomorrow.....the worst he can do is say no.... >:(
