Its a tricky little monster..sometimes its just microscopic that you can't even see......sometimes it appears as very dark tea colored urine that you attribute to something you've eaten.......you may only have one incidence of passing blood clots or several.........it takes on many forms. Its your bodys little warning light that should alert you to a problem but often goes ignored by patient and uro alike.

In Oct of 07 I had my first indoctrinazation to the World of bladdwe cancer. The first time I happend to look in the toilet and saw this dark mass. There was no discomfort nor did I feel it come out. My urine was red tinted for a couple days and then all was normal. A month later I felt something solid pass out of me. No painful, just odd. I passed about 7 clots at that time. This time the red tint was gone the same evening. I pui it off because I didnt want deal with it as it stopped. My wife brought it up to my podiatrist. She got all worred and put in a uro consult.
My question was about the clots. From all Ive found it was a sign of the cancer they later found. What is it that causes the clots? Is the cancer causing internal bleeding? At first I chalked it up to stones as I have gout attacks from high UA levels.
Is it normal for a person to only having couple of instances? We wouldnt it be a recurring problem?
