Robn, I wouldn't go with that unless someone did a 2nd opinion, and said to you it is, that hasn't happened as of yet, so wait for the second opinion, until then hold tight and be optomistic,,don't waste time getting to the specialist, best to find out whats going on to ease your mind. Ginger

From what I understand, NO. There are different types of cancers, for example transitional cell and squamous cell. I do not think that a path. report alone can tell if the cancer has spread. In my father's case, they did not know until a PET scan was done. I highly recommend having one for peace of mind. Not all drs. will send you so make sure to reques it. Hope this helps!
