I'm sure your Dr knows what he is doing and you have to be more specific in what you are trying to say you a scared of if you want any help and support here. There are alot of nice folks here that can be of help to you if you say what is on your mind with more details. Joe

We were all scared. It's a process...

Once you have your procedure (TUR for Trans Urethal Resection), a sample of the turmor will be sent to the pathologist. The pathologist is trained to take a look at the specimen under a microscope and then he assigns a stage and grade to the tumor. The pathology report (stage and grade) will give you an idea of the aggressiveness and potential of progression for your disease.

Once you have obtained the results from your pathology, you may want to get a second opinion. Most of us here, I think, agree on the issue of a second opinion.

Once you and your doctor come up with a treatment plan, you will get a better feel for a confidence level in your doctor. You can talk to us about this.

It's a scary time for you, but once you are past the patholgy issue, then you will know what you are facing. We will try to help you face it squarely.

Are you talking about a TUR? You will need to give some more information like where you live? What is happening. Have you been diagnosed? What is the Diagnosis? etc...
