I have the same problem of periodically passing stone attached to a staple.
They tell me not to do yoga or core type exercise(the most important exercise )
Also not be be constipated. I am wondering if any foods cause these crystals to form It seems may the crystals form around the staple and when it is big enough, it pulls away.
Scary.... Please any information would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks for your response! No I have not contacted my urologist. Try not to see him unless I absolutely have to. But will definitely give feedback when I find out what is going on.

Have you talked to your Urologist who did the RC and reconstruction? I have not ran across this before or experienced it myself. This does not mean it does not happen obviously or explain its significance. If you have not notified your Urologist I would run it my them. Let us know what you find out we will be interested in hearing.

I have passed 3 small which what looks like metal staples with calcified stone like material around it. I tend to think this probably is not a normal thing. They are showing up in my urine pouch. Not all at once but over the last few months. I have noticed I do have an increase in pain that I seem to realize after the fact. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks so much for any info!
