Hi Everyone,
Nice to meet you, I'm new here, and I know none of us really wants to be here. But, I'm glad I'm not alone.
Diagnosed with CIS May 2014, had a second opinion in July, began BCG treatments on 8/1/14, last one was 9/5/14. I have a biopsy scheduled for 10/17/14. I'm noticing I'm still having the same or in some cases more pain, that I had when I was first diagnosed. I'm wondering if this is a possible after effect of the BCG or a sign that it is not gone. The treatments went well for me for the most part, just a lot of fatigue but not much else, for which I am grateful.
Anyone else experience this? Also, my doctor said there was no need to lay down and rotate positions with the BCG treatments, but I'm reading where that is the usual protocol. Did any of you lay down and change positions or just go about your day with the chemical in your bladder until it was time to void? Thanks everyone. I look forward to helping support this community.
Diane
