Wishing all of you the very best. At least the surgery is over and you can both start rebuilding your lives.

Tina was scheduled for surgery on 12/19/2011, but on 12/12/2011, she developed bronchitis, so her surgery was rescheduled for 1/11/2012. Her Dr. then had a cancellation for 12/27/11, if her bronchitis was gone. She saw her physician on 12/23/2011, and was given the OK for surgery. To add to the fun, our electric went off at 6pm on 12/26/2011. She had the surgery on 12/27/2100 has scheduled, and as of today, they expect her to be released on 1/3/2012. Because of where we live, in the boonies, I convinced her to stay with her mother following discharge from the hospital she has more of her strength back.

Hello Joe... Reading your post about how Tina's weaving friends and her youth group have rallied around her brings tears to my eyes. I hope her surgery goes well and she is soon back to her loom. Please let us know how things go and remember there is a large group here who can answer questions that might come up along the way.

My very best to Tina and to you...

Catherine

Best wishes... Catherine

Your wife should very very seriously consider having Drr Schoenberg do her surgery. Best in the world is a pretty darn good doctor.

Tina is the weaver of a sheep to shawl team. Two weeks ago, she told the rest of the team that she would not be competing at the Pa Farm Show in January because of her recovery. Last week, the team told her that they decided that if she was not competing, then they were not competing.
There is a youth fleece to shawl team, that Tina's team works with. Several weeks ago the youth team told her that their shawl for the Pa Farm Show competition was being dedicated to her, the colors of the warp will be blue, purple, and marigold, and all proceeds from the auction of their shawl will be donated to cancer research.
