Julie - Great news! Thanks for sharing. Hopefully the hernia won't get any worse and the doctors will take good care of you. Enjoy spring! We got 1/2 inch of snow earlier this week at my house and expect another snow fall before May...which is why I never take my boots out of my car until May 1st. Hugs,

Julie,

Those lymphoceles are pretty common and most will be absorbed over time. They'll keep an eye on it but likely it won't be an issue at all.

Those darn incisional hernias are pretty darn common as well. Last time I went in to get mine fixed (I had one that looked like the movie Alien when I raised my feet off the ground from a supine position) the doctors stopped counting at 5 hernias.
It is something to keep an eye on if any of them get big though.

You might want to inquire with your doc if he/she thinks an abdominal binder would be in order and you may also want to discuss lifting things with them. You have to be pretty careful about lifting much for quite a while, especially without some sort of binder.

Congrats on the all clear!!!

Mike
