Female bladder cancer: Incidence, treatment, and o

Yeah we only get the abstract report...sometimes i can find the full report if i wait just a bit and its published.
But its a lot to think about and it state that women do not appear to be more undertreated than males......appears..thats ominous. But i sure personally know of many that have been...just observational only.
Wish i could go back into research and actually get paid for it!!

Pat, they claimed to have adjusted for stage, etc ...in the data for men and women. Frankly, I was disappointed in the report...no real research here, just another epidemiological study (publish or perish?) and I think we need REAL research into this.

Yes, it is a bit scary if true.

I know Nix..been thinking about it a lot. I know females most frequently get misdiagnosed as UTI's and there is a delay in diagnosis but men are almost as bad about reporting it..they're likely to ignore it more than women will.......so whats that leave us? Poorer socio-economic situations for females? Lack of adequate insurance?..single moms who can't travel to get the best treatment at a high volume center for BLC?....????

Holy Cow, that is scary :woohoo: I had never read that fact before! Here is hoping more research gets done and we can change that fact.
