Good article...glad somebody has noticed what we knew all along...that women get dismissed for the most part...sent to their Gyn...get treated for a UTI..and precious time goes by.
Also interesting are the areas they studied..
The 101,249 patients came from 16 different regions: Atlanta, rural Georgia, Connecticut, Detroit, Seattle, Hawaii, Iowa, New Mexico, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Jose, rural California, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Utah.
Notice none from major areas that have major cancer centers or urological centers......MD Anderson, Memorial Sloan, The Cleveland Clinic, or Johns Hopkins........Numbers might be a variable there.??
There's one great blc surgeon in Iowa...and there are plenty of great surgeons in San Fran, Los Angeles...Seattle not to shabby.......so no excuse there.....
The rest of the areas not so great for major blc personnel.
Thanks for the article sassy.........Pat
