Advocacy
Part of the work the American Bladder Cancer Society does is to raise awareness of bladder cancer to the public
and offer information and support to bladder cancer survivors and their loved ones.
We also wish to promote research into a cure, survivors issues and early detection.
If you would like to be part of this effort you may do so in the following ways.
Become a living advocate of the Bladder Cancer cause
By educating everyone you care about or who shows an interest.
Many people have never heard of bladder cancer and do not know what a threat it is to so many.
Know the symptoms, possible causes and that men have a 1 in 28 and women a 1 in 85 chance of developing it in their life time.

Volunteer to drop off our brochure to Doctors offices or cancer centers in your area or print out our bladder cancer flyer and post it at work, church or anywhere you can think of
Become a part of our Advocacy Working Group
