You are likely correct that the PSA is a standard test within the blood panel. With that being said Jim has had his done every time he's had blood work done by the onco etc. even though he has no prostate. So, the good news is that the PSA is not something to be concerned about per his onco/uro and his uro he saw at U of Florida a few weeks ago for possible reconstruction of his IC. I don't know if you recall but the external stoma portion fell off when it necrosed almost 5 years ago. It wasn't the surgeons fault it is Jim's body habitus. he's a Big Boy and the adipose layer well, it didn't do the stoma a lot of good. Anyway, we are good to go and he will have his next CT to assure he is still in remission in August. it's most fitting since that will be the 5th anniversary of his RC/IC. Wishing all well!
