It looks like surgery is in my near future and I would like to hear from anyone who has had this done. I have 50/50 chance of it coming back and with the surgery it is 70% curative. Mine is a rare and aggressive type(of course!). Oncologist say looks like stage one and chemo radiation is not called for at this time. Dr. says T1 or T2 as was large and deep, she thinks it probably is in the lymph nodes as microscopic and no way to tell unless removed and slice and diced. Sounds like a huge deal and I am waffling back and forth with the surgery decision, it has to be made SOON. Has anyone had it, how truly rough are the first 3 weeks and how difficult to learn the art of attaching and using the bag?
