It really has been a while....
Today is Father\'s Day and of course I am missing my dad terribly. My little sister was married a month ago and he was surely missed. My daughter is already 2 and I will always be sad when I think about how he never got the chance to meet her. He really would get a kick out of her 
There are a lot of people that I do not \"recognize\" on here now but I wanted to say hello and tell you all that you are never far from my heart, and from my prayers. I noticed it has been a while since Patricia posted and was wondering if someone could give me an update? She was always so helpful to me and had such wonderful words of advice and encouragement.

There are a lot of people that I do not \"recognize\" on here now but I wanted to say hello and tell you all that you are never far from my heart, and from my prayers. It has been a while, hard to believe your baby is already two!
Patricia and I email every couple of months or so.
She said her computer can not get on this site anymore. Patricia was a great help to so many of us, she is certainly missed on our Forum.
I am sure with your Dad\'s passing you have an angel watching over you and your family.

Great to hear from you. I only realised it was Father·s day in the States and UK when I went on Google yesterday - missing my dad ,too. It is at times like your sister·s wedding, and landmark birthdays, when it really hits home that your dad is gone, but I am sure , as Nancy says that they are with us close by , watching .
Nancy - I was off the site for ages,too as I couldn·t access the new site - I know zilch about computers, but asked for help from an expert and he just installed Firefox for me and hey presto, problem gone - maybe Patricia has the same problem?

Hi Melissa , My Dad has been gone for a year and my mother for thirtyeight years. I think I miss my Mom more every year that goes by. She met my first son but not the other two. So I know how you feel. I just wish I could hear her voice. In todays world we have videos, sound ,the whole bit , but back then no sound.
I can watch and see my Dad on video. I hope you can too, and I hope it gives you comfort. we had a house fire so make sure you have other copies you keep somewhere else . I do believe I will see both of them again someday. Rocky
